เนื่องจากขณะนี้ทางสถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิรินธรได้จัดตั้งกองทุน “ศิษย์เก่าเพื่อพัฒนา SIIT” ขึ้น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นช่องทางให้ศิษย์เก่าและสมาคมศิษย์เก่ามีส่วนร่วมในการบริจาคเงินเพื่อพัฒนา SIIT โดยเงินบริจาคส่วนใหญ่จะนำไปใช้เพื่อเป็นทุนการศึกษาแก่น้องๆ ที่เรียนดีแต่ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์
